Inside Istituto Marangoni Dubai’s new scholarship programme
Text Dazed MENA
At Istituto Marangoni Dubai, the classroom is just the starting point.
Istituto Marangoni Dubai is awarding ten scholarships for students enrolling in October 2025, each worth up to AED 100,000. Open to applicants for two BA programmes — Fashion Communication & Image and Visual Design — the deadline to apply runs until July 4th, and is aimed at creatives across the region looking for access, not elitism.
For the 2024/25 academic year, the school has launched a new mentorship programme connecting students directly with some of the most influential names in fashion and design today. Among them: HELIOT EMIL founders Julius and Victor Juul, luxury fashion heavyweight Ingie Chalhoub, viral fashion filmmaker Luca Finotti, and boundary-pushing designer Ross Lovegrove — whose work sits in MoMA and the Design Museum.

This isn’t a one-off talk or passive lecture. Students work on real briefs, attend guest sessions, go on field trips, and take part in hands-on workshops where their ideas are tested, challenged, and built out with feedback from people actually working in the field. Whether it’s brand building, visual storytelling, or trend forecasting, students are learning what it takes to create work that lands — not just in class, but out in the world.
It’s part of the school’s wider approach: merging academic rigour with practical industry access. The goal is simple: to prepare students for careers in fashion, design, and communication that don’t just respond to the industry, but help define its future.
Apply via istitutomarangoni.com before July 4th.
