The Sacai x Carhartt WIP Fall 2025 collection is built different
Text Meeran Mekkaoui
sacai and Carhartt WIP have built a rhythm that feels instinctive now. Every time they meet, the result lands somewhere between structure and ease with clothes that hold their shape but never feel stiff. Their third collaboration, launched earlier this month, carries that same quiet confidence through 19 pieces that trace both brands’ design codes with a kind of deliberate precision.
At the centre of it all is the Detroit Jacket, reworked into a hybrid puffer lined with insulation and stitched in Carhartt WIP’s signature canvas. A cropped leather biker jacket adds a sharper edge, while a women’s skirt — built from the Arctic Jacket and Double-Knee Pant — reimagines utility with sculptural pocket detailing. There’s also a unisex piece that fuses two outerwear silhouettes into one, a nod to sacai’s talent for controlled hybridity.

Throughout the capsule, fabrics carry a worn, human texture — think of garment-washed cotton canvas softened with time. Each item bears a small co-branded square label, understated but intentional, the only hint that this is sacai x Carhartt WIP territory.
Carhartt WIP has long existed at that intersection, adapting its workwear heritage from factory floors to city streets without losing authenticity. sacai operates in a different but equally exacting space, reshaping garments through unexpected layering and proportion. Together, they don’t chase novelty but refine what already works and make it feel current again.

This new chapter moves like the people who wear it: functional, grounded, and impossible to pin down.
sacai x Carhartt WIP is available at select global retailers and sacai stores, as well as through sacai and Carhartt WIP’s online shops.
