Arte Antwerp’s AW2025 is for the people and the culture

With AW25, Arte Antwerp thinks of design as a tool for cultural expression

With a motto that positions “art and design […] as powerful instruments of change,” Arte Antwerp’s Autumn/Winter 2025 collection pulls from global protest culture and the kind of visual language that originated on the streets.

The newest line up asks one question: What does it look like when design becomes a tool for expression, not just aesthetics?

This season, Arte revisits its signature graphics and flips them, quite literally. The label has used logos in a way that they appear appliqued, torn, layered, and redrawn by hand. These choices nod to a very deliberate roughness, with textures that mimic paper ripped off a wall and typography that could’ve been traced from a homemade placard.

The collection showcases bold outerwear and deconstructed prints that collide with structure, creating pieces that feel both spontaneous and thoughtfully created.

However, the idea isn’t to romanticise protest culture or dress it up. Arte isn’t gesturing vaguely at ‘activism’ for the sake of moodboarding. Instead, AW25 quietly proposes that design, when it’s stripped of its gloss and glamour, can be symbolic and accessible.

With that idea in mind, the end result is a collection that has moved away from the conventional and represents a visual manifesto instead.

AW25 upholds Arte Antwerp’s long-held belief that fashion isn’t just about reflecting culture, but actively participating in it.
