If you’ve been thinking about getting into fashion or design, but the tuition fees were holding you back, this might help.

Istituto Marangoni Dubai, a school with a reputation for walking the line between runway and radical expression, has just announced a new scholarship programme to support emerging talent in the region.

Starting May 28 and running until June 30, the school is offering up to 10 scholarships, each worth up to AED 100,000, for students enrolling in October 2025. The initiative applies to two BA programmes: Fashion Communication & Image and Visual Design, two fields reshaping the way we see and tell stories today.

Whether you’re building campaigns that read like manifestos or designing visuals that speak louder than press releases, these courses are designed to equip the next generation of creatives with both fluency and edge. And in a moment when fashion and design are more political, more cross-cultural, and more digitally mediated than ever, nuance and value carry new weight.

This move is part of the school’s broader approach: pushing back against exclusivity and making space for creatives who might not always see themselves reflected in traditional design education. It’s about access, not elitism and opening up pathways for the next wave of visual thinkers and storytellers.

So if you’ve been sketching ideas in your breaks, moodboarding in your Notes app, or just waiting for a sign, it’s here. This is your cue to apply.

Applications are now open via Istituto Marangoni Dubai’s website.
