H&M Atelier’s SS26 drop presents a wardrobe reset for the sunniest months ahead

You know the season’s shifted warmer in the Middle East when outdoor plans get swapped for air-conditioned café-runs and you order your cafeteria shawarmas and Abood milkshakes from the comfort of your car, rather than stepping out and braving the harsh midday sun. The same thing happens to your wardrobe. Heavier layers feel like overkill, and your weekly outfit rotation starts to lean lighter, looser, and a little more relaxed. 

That’s the space H&M Atelier explores with its Spring-Summer 2026 collection. The menswear capsule draws inspiration from coastal lifestyles. It’s beachwear-adjacent, with a selection of clothes made for movement, warm weather, and whatever the day throws at you.

Ana Hernández, H&M Atelier Design Lead, describes the collection, saying, “We focused on that sun-faded, lived-in quality, where technical performance meets tactile, natural materials.”

The edit covers the essentials when it comes to base layers. Pocket-front shirts, Henley tees, and sleeveless knits are simple, functional staples that anchor any look. They pair easily with unstructured blazers and breezy windbreakers, creating that layered-but-unfussy feel that works when it’s hot out, but there’s a chance of spring showers on the forecast. 

Additionally, the silhouettes across the collection are deliberately elongated, with Bermuda shorts dropping below the knee, cargo trousers falling loose through the leg, and pleated trousers pooling slightly at the ankle. 

The materials used throughout the range pull everything together. Rustic yarns, soft cottons, and suede add texture, balanced with the practical comfort of the brand’s signature linen blend. The palette features dusty earth tones, washed denim, and faded mint inspired by the Southern French regions of Provence, Marseille, and the surrounding coastal terrain.

The H&M Atelier Spring/Summer 2026 collection is available to shop at Dubai Mall, Mall of the Emirates, and The Avenues Mall, Phase 3, as well as online across the UAE and Kuwait, right on cue for the seasonal wardrobe refresh.
