So, Jaden Smith is now running Louboutin’s men’s universe

First up is a limited capsule and then, a full debut in Paris

This is not a drill. Jaden Smith now runs Christian Louboutin Men’s. He wore a skirt to prom in 2015, carried dreads in his hands at the Met Gala in 2017 and now he’s designing red soles for the boys.

The star has always done things his way, and now he’s bringing that energy to Christian Louboutin as the maison’s first Men’s Creative Director. It’s a move that seems to go beyond a celebrity joining a fashion house and more about shifting style language from inside the house.

Jaden will oversee four men’s collections a year, covering shoes, leather goods, and accessories. But his role extends ahead of that as he’s also expected to shape the narrative, the visuals, and the immersive experiences around it. This includes campaigns, events as well as culture-building.

The 27-year-old’s relationship with the brand began in Paris back in 2019, when Christian and Jaden met and sparked a creative conversation that never really ended. Louboutin was struck by Jaden’s curiosity, his commitment to the planet, and his outlook on the world. That original spark has now turned into a full creative partnership.

“When I first met Jaden, I saw in him a natural fit for the Maison, his world is rich and multidimensional, his style and cultural sensibility are inspiring and his curiosity and openness are remarkable […],” says Christian Louboutin.

For the rapper and actor, the sentiment is mutual. “Merging my vision with Christian’s comes quite naturally because we see the world in a very similar way. There’s a shared respect for creative freedom, and I think that’s why it works. I want to continue the story, honoring the past while shaping the future through my own perspective […],” Jaden explains.

Louboutin’s men’s line has been around for over 15 years and now makes up 24 percent of the maison’s business. According to CEO Alexis Mourot, there’s still huge potential and Jaden feels like the right person to unlock it.

For those who’re fans of the brand, his first capsule drops globally in January at select boutiques and on christianlouboutin.com. The full debut will take place during Paris Fashion Week Men’s for Fall/Winter 2026.
