What went down at the Notes On Being H&M x Huda Shahin activation
Text Zein Karam
Following the launch of its SS25 collection, H&M launched its Notes On Being in collaboration with Huda Shahin, a showcase of femininity and unique expression through fashion. This global campaign has spanned from Dubai to Stockholm, celebrating the collection as an ode to femininity. The evening was a colourful culmination of Huda’s creativity and mission to inspire confidence in one’s self and fashion. Here’s what went down:
The space:
The space in the H&M shop at Dubai Mall was a beautiful pied-a-terre of femininity and womanhood. Huda’s notes on being were magnified, creating a runway where guests could move through her words. The stage was set up with mannequins styled by Huda using H&M’s latest collection. Little touches of her can be seen and felt everywhere as you move around the space.

Huda’s styling session
The main event was Huda’s styling session, or rather, her styling lesson. Huda is a free spirit when it comes to her fashion, and she gave away the secrets to the effortless style that she embodies. From explaining how to create various silhouettes with staple pieces in your closet to exploring how to dress for your body type, Huda became everyone’s big sister that night.

The T-shirt press station:
On the other side of the space was an area with a t-shirt heat press station, creating T-shirts with Huda’s mixed media collage piece. A keepsake of a delightful evening celebrating womanhood and femininity. Those visiting the store for the until the 20th of April will still be able to get their hands on this limited edition design with the purchase of any basic tee any day from 12-8pm.
