Hermès FW25 collection was a darker take on their usual sophistication and grace

Hermes' WRTW FW25 Nadège Vanhée was ultimate labour of love

Nadège Vanhée’s FW25 collection for Hermes was a delivery of the powerful bad girl. Showcased on International Women’s Day, it’s only right that the collection was a celebration of the versatility of the Hermes woman. A house known for its leather goods and refined techniques, Hermes has consistently prioritised sophistication. This collection was a move towards the sexy and untamed, not in a trashy and provocative way, but a sleek and tight type of femininity that commands a room.

Cropped riding jackets and leather hot pants that make you consider taking up riding, or at least adopting the uniform. The colour pallet was muted and dark, with just enough mystery to keep someone hooked. Vanhée’s take on the saddle bag was fresh and almost ergonomic in its shape. Adaptable for the ideal Hermes woman. The contrast of various black textures kept every look distinct and interesting. This collection was so far one of Vanhée’s best for Hermes.
