MG Motor is flipping the switch on everyday driving

Everyone’s talking electric, but hybrids are where things are really getting interesting. Both models are powered by MG’s DMH Super Hybrid Technology courtesy of the same system driving the brand’s global shift towards smarter electrified mobility. Beneath the polished exteriors and panoramic glass roofs, the tech quietly manages energy flow, deciding when to switch between petrol and electric so seamlessly you barely notice it happening.
On the road, it feels almost like an invisible co-pilot. Adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, and a 360° camera system all work together in harmony, keeping things smooth and composed even when traffic doesn’t.
And because this is the Middle East, MG’s engineers didn’t stop at the tech. Both cars have been rigorously tested in extreme heat, with thermal management and battery systems tuned for long drives and high temperatures. The MG 8 PHEV journeyed from Riyadh Boulevard to Dubai Boulevard, clocking over 1,500 km in a single run, showing off its endurance in real-world conditions. Meanwhile, the HS Hybrid+ took the scenic route through France, from Paris to Normandy, in a campaign designed to showcase its balance of design, innovation, and hybrid performance.
