Emergency Room unveils its captivating new collection, “Golden (R)age.” This series intricately threads the tale of a young adult with Lebanese roots, who ventures back from overseas to sift through their grandparents’ old house. Amidst the faded textiles, vintage furniture, and tucked-away treasures, they embark on an intimate voyage of rediscovery. Each artifact, steeped in history, rekindles a connection with their lineage, weaving their personal story into the rich tapestry of their heritage.

“Golden (R)age” breathes new life into traditional Lebanese materials, transforming them into contemporary fashion statements. Vintage upholstery becomes chic miniskirts and elegant coats, while old bedsheets evolve into trendy jackets and shirts. The collection’s eclectic flair continues with grandfather’s checkered scarves repurposed into patchwork dresses and curtains reimagined as layered gowns adorned with tassel details. Even artisanal lamé fabrics find a new purpose, crafted into eye-catching suits and trousers, as vintage trinkets are intricately embroidered onto key pieces like wool coats and hoodies.
Captured through the lenses of Marc Issa, Emile Maroun, and Claude Bou Haroun in Beirut, the collection comes alive against the architectural heritage of Eric Mathieu Ritter’s ancestral home. With models Mark Achkouty, Ali Abulgasim, Joy Wakim, and Rana Boustany embodying the spirit of the line, the imagery resonates with the city’s unique ability to meld the old with the new, where the echoes of Beirut’s storied past meet its dynamic present.

Debuting on the runways of Dubai Fashion Week, “Golden (R)age” captivated a global audience, showcasing Emergency Room’s distinctive Code System. This framework categorizes their offerings into four meticulously crafted lines—ranging from the accessibility of CODE BLUE essentials to the exclusive artistry of CODE RED couture. Each piece is designed to meet the needs of a diverse and discerning clientele, showing off Emergency Room’s commitment to blending practicality with luxury in a uniquely modular fashion system.
