Gucci’s ‘Nojum’ collection celebrates Ramadan with regional heritage
Text Dazed MENA
With Ramadan fast approaching, Gucci has unveiled its latest collection – Gucci Nojum – a tribute to the meditative essence of the Holy Month.

Named after the Arabic word for “stars,” the collection explores the interplay of light and shadow, sand and sky, capturing the essence of Ramadan through flowing silhouettes and designs that honour cultural traditions.

Paying homage to some of the Maison’s most iconic pieces, Gucci Nojum reimagines the Italian luxury brand’s most emblematic and iconic designs, including the Gucci Bamboo 1947 and Jackie Notte handbags in iridescent leather. The collection, styled here by Dazed MENA’s fashion director, Omaima Salem, reimagines Gucci’s timeless classics in shades of sand to evoke the radiance of the season, playing with contrast, texture, and shine to reflect Ramadan’s deep cultural significance within the region.

Shot in Sharjah by Cypriot photographer Prod Antzoulis – who was raised in the UAE – the campaign shines a light on the Middle East and North Africa’s rich heritage, featuring models from the region in a campaign that puts the essence of local traditions front and centre.

The Gucci Nojum collection is available now in select stores across the GCC, worldwide, and online at gucci.com.
