Istanbul’s electrifying luxury streetwear brand, Les Benjamins, landed in Dubai Fashion Week on February 5th. In a dramatic showcase, the brand’s FW25 ‘Altaicana’ collection took centre stage, leaving attendees abuzz long after the final look. The collection itself goes beyond simple fashion—it is a full-on ode to Altai culture, where every garment tells stories of ancient myths, natural beauty, and future-forward design.

The show transformed the runway into an alluring dreamscape thanks to a stunning partnership with Cinar Rugs, the Turkish brand renowned for its handwoven silk and wool carpets.

The ‘Altaicana’ collection is Inspired by the Altai people’s profound connection to nature and their ancient, powerful mythology. Playing with contrasts, the collection is luxe and effortlessly cool, carrying the quiet confidence of its rich cultural heritage. The line is a collection of striking pieces that could just as easily take you from a gala to a desert rave, and everywhere in between.

The colour palette featured deep terracottas, fiery rusts, and earthy greens, while pops of molten gold and daring midnight blues gave the collection a celestial bent. The entire endeavour paid deep homage to the land’s intrinsic place in the Altai people’s identity. The fabrics employed were an indulgent yet rebellious array of luxurious silks, soft leathers, and eye-catching metallics that reflected light as the models glided past in a haze of glamour and an aura of wildness and earthy simplicity.

Perhaps most striking of all are the collection’s accessories, from statement jewellery that sparkled like a constellation of stars to fierce boots that demanded attention. The brand’s signature fusion of Eastern mysticism and Western edge was on full display, proving once again why Les Benjamins are carving out a space for themselves in global fashion and culture.
