From visionary filmmakers and groundbreaking musicians to BMX riders, fashion designers, and multi-hyphenates doing it all, these 100 talents are driving cultural conversations and shaping the future with creativity at their core.
Curated by Dazed MENA’s editorial team, the list spotlights innovation, passion, and purpose. Driving our launch issue, four of our cover stars, Wathek, Ethiopian Girl Skaters, Nemahsis and Nazarit Machin are part of the list. Meanwhile, behind the scenes, talent took a direct role in creating the stories throughout: in ‘Bumping my ribcage against the wall of reality’ Photographer Emile-Samory Fofana and Stylist Jennifer Abeyratne teamed up to shoot youth in Senegal, Saad Khan created a special zine, and Mariam El Gendy shot a feature on Saudi’s leading indie record label.
Everyone on this list makes up our DNA, and we hope to celebrate them throughout the year and beyond – the Dazed MENA 100 is not just a list—it’s a movement.
